Sierra Regional Ski for Light is offering a 3 Day Winter Event on March 8th -10th. We are also offering a February 8, 2024 Day Trip. Please read this entire page before filling in the application!
This year our Skier Application Form is an online form! There is nothing to download. Simply click on the link below, read it carefully, fill it in fully, answering all questions and click on “Submit.” You will also have the option of paying with Zelle, if you wish.
2025 Skier Application
February 08, 2025 Day Trip and On-the-Snow Guide Training:
Our Day Trip and new On-the-Snow Guide Training is set for Saturday, February 8th. It will be at Tahoe Donner Cross Country. VIP Children are welcome on day trips. The number of VIP persons we can accept depends upon the number of guides available. The fees for this day trip are as follows: First Time Young Adults 18 to 30: $25.00 including equipment rental. Other Adults: $50.00 including equipment rental. Children Under 18: No cost, due to a designated grant we have to get VIP Children out on the snow. Adults with their own equipment will receive a $25.00 discount.
2025 3-Day Ski Event for Adults:
The 2025 SRSFL three-day cross-country ski event will be held in Truckee, CA Saturday, March 8, 2025–Monday March 10, 2025. Lodging will be at the Best Western Hotel in Truckee, CA. Skiing will be at Tahoe Donner Cross Country, Truckee, CA. Cost: $350.00 (INCLUDES equipment rental) $260 if you bring your own skis or snowshoes. These fees include 2 nights lodging (double occupancy) in Truckee, breakfasts and dinners, and trail passes for all three days. Note: Add $200 if you wish a private room. You are on your own for lunches in Truckee. Tahoe Donner has a lunch menu, which does include vegetarian items. For those coming from out of town, Friday, March 7, 2025, lodging will be at the Fairfield Inn & Suites, 10745 Gold Center Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670, Phone: (916) 858-8680. The cost is an additional $70.00 and a double $ 140 single (includes continental breakfast). SRSFL will hold an informal meet and greet from 6 to 8 p.m. with a salad and pizza dinner. Please be prepared to chip in $12.00 to cover the cost of the diner. We will depart at 7:15 a.m. Saturday, March 8th from the Fairfield Inn for Tahoe Donner Cross Country. When making airline reservations please plan to arrive by 4:00 PM on Friday and depart after 6:00 PM on Monday.
TRIP FEES: Your trip fees are due by the sign-up deadline Feb. 20, 2025. To
receive your refund, cancel on or before Feb. 20, 2025. There will be NO refunds after this date. Note: Because of many generous donations to SRSFL, these fees are subsidized.
